About Our Center

The Learning Express is a private, locally owned 5-star child development center located in Denver, North Carolina less than one mile from NC Hwy 16 and NC Hwy 73.

We strive to provide a second home for our children a place where play is cherished, love abounds, and comprehensive development is "fast-tracked."

Our Program

We are a year-round and full time program that provides 10 hours of care per day. Our center serves children 6 weeks to Pre-K (5 years old).

At this time, we do not provide before or after school care nor do we provide transportation.

Our teachers utilize the Creative Curriculum for Preschool when creating lessons for our children.

Our Ratios

We operate under enhanced ratios.

Our teacher to child ratios are:

Under One Year: 1:5

One Year: 1:6

Two Years: 1:9

Three Years: 1:10

Fours Years & Up: 1:13

Our center is a peanut/tree nut free facility.

The Learning Express is a Godsend. We've never met such wonderful teachers who love taking care of children. The quality of care that Max is given each day is beyond what we could have given him alone. He has lots friends and looks forward every Monday to going to HIS SCHOOL.
