The Learning Express Parent Club



The TLE Parent Club is a welcoming, informal group open to everyone who plays a role in a child's life at TLE





What is Parent Club?

Our goal is simple: to build meaningful connections among families, support our incredible teachers and staff, and help enhance the TLE experience for all children. If you're a parent, grandparent, teacher, staff, friend, everyone is invited to join. Whether you have a lot of time to give or just want to stay connected, there is a place for you in our community.


TLE Parent Club meetings are held periodically throughout the year and are designed to be relaxed, welcoming gatherings. They are a chance to learn about upcoming events, share ideas, meet other families, and discover ways to get involved if and when you'd like.


There is no obligation, no minimum commitment, and no pressure.


Together, we're building more than a center. We're building a community!



Classmate Meetups





Whether it's a park playdate, a Moms' meetup, a Dads' meetup, or an alumni gathering, these events are all about strengthening the sense of community that makes TLE special. They're relaxed, family-friendly opportunities to catch up, make new connections, and enjoy time together. The friendships built at TLE don't have to end when the school day does!

A community space where TLE families can donate, exchange, or pass along gently used clothing, toys, books, baby gear, and more.


It's a simple way to support one another, reduce waste, and help make parenting a little easier and more affordable. Whether you're giving, receiving, or swapping, Swap & Share is built on kindness, generosity, and the spirit of community.

Fix-It-Friends





A place where TLE families can come together to volunteer their time and talents, and help improve our center. From classroom projects and playground enhancements to gardening and special work days, every effort helps create an even better environment for our children.


Whether you're handy with tools, have a green thumb, or simply want to lend a helping hand, there's a place for you. Together, we can build a brighter, better space for children to learn, play, and grow.

Adopt-a-Highway





TLE is proud to participate in NCDOT's Adopt-A-Highway program by caring for Pilot Knob Road from N. Hwy. 16 Business to S. Hwy. 16 Business.

Through this commitment, we are helping keep our community clean and beautiful while teaching children the importance of environmental stewardship and giving back.


The TLE Parent Club organizes family-friendly clean-up days throughout the year and welcomes volunteers ages 12 and older (with parent permission). It's a wonderful opportunity to serve our community, spend time together, and model the value of caring for the world around us.
